CoD4

The already rather obsolete Call of Duty 4 got the honor to be the first real game test this time. In this test the HD5850 Toxic fights back and indeed manages to score a couple of frames per second higher than the stock GTX 470. When overclocked the GTX 470 gets past again and only loses to the crossfire and 295GTX.
Crysis Warhead
"Pulse-racing new installment from 2007's PC Game of the Year*: Play as Sergeant Sykes and experience a whole new side of the battle. A standard combat mission behind enemy lines becomes critical when you discover your enemies have captured something of vital importance to the ensuing war. It's down to you to retrieve the cargo, at any cost.
More explosive and dynamic minute to minute game play: new customizable weapons, new vehicles, new photorealistic locations to explore, and a fully interactive war zone to dominate."

Crysis still remains extremely demanding even to the latest hardware, and with the results sorted according to the average FPS of the last test, the last generation 295 GTX comes out on top. After that follows the overclocked GTX 470, with the HD5850 losing to it by just under 2 FPS. The stock GTX470 follows close with a negligible difference of 0,4 FPS. All the GTX 470 and HD5850 results are within just 5 FPS.
Far Cry 2
"Far Cry® 2, the next-generation first-person shooter from Ubisoft, will take you deep into the most beautiful but also most hostile environments in the world: Africa! More than just a visual and technological achievement, Far Cry® 2, the true sequel to the award-winning PC game, will provide you with an unprecedented gaming experience."

In Far Cry 2 the GTX 470 leads the way, finally getting past the 295 GTX and scoring the highest frame rate of this bunch. For the first time there are also the first really meaningful differences between the GTX 470 and HD 5850, with the 5850 losing by over 15 FPS.
