IceQ X - Turbo X

From the flipside and next to the normal HIS HD6870. The circuit boards of the two versions are identical, with the only difference being that the IceQ X-version doesn't have the X-support for the cooler.
Surprisingly the IceQ X version is actually lighter than the version with the reference cooler, but more than anything this goes to prove the good design of the new cooler.

The IceQ X cooler is only held in place with four spring loaded screws, but this shouldn't be a problem as it's surprisingly light and there's a metal shim to cover the GPU die. For the eight memory chips there's a separate aluminum heatspreader and for VRM components another small heatsink.

And finally here's the card compared to the reference design HD6870 and the HD6850 IceQ X. The PCB of the card is 240 mm long, with the fan shroud adding another 5 mm to the total length, so it should fit most cases with ease.
