The bundle is also very similar to what we’ve seen with previous HIS-cards. Inside the box you’ll find the manual, a driver CD, a DVI-VGA-adapter and a crossfire bridge – no free games this time.
HIS has opted to use their own cooler design with the HD 7850, the whole front side of the card is hidden under a fan shroud and there’s a single 80 mm fan in the middle. This is actually a very similar design to what we saw on the HIS HD 6850, and should be reasonably quiet and powerful.
For connectivity the card offers a single DVI-I, a HDMI-port and two mini-Displayports. These connections are able to run up to three displays simultaneously, which is the same amount we saw with the standard HD 6-series. The second card slot is reserved for ventilation holes, although the cooler used by HIS blows only some of the hot air out of the case.
