Juniper
We won't get into the architecture that deeply in this review, but we are going to cover it more in-depth in one of the upcoming ones.

When looking at the bare numbers, the Juniper-core looks pretty much the same as the RV770 core, which can be found from the HD4800 series cards. This should give us some indication on the performance-level of the card.

While looking at the numbers here, we can see that the Compute power of the card has been bumped up a little from the previous HD4870 cards. This is possible due to the fact that the core has been tweaked and improved, it runs at a higher clock and the memory has been clocked all the way to 4800 MHz from the 3800 MHz, which we saw in the HD4870.
One of the more interesting things here is the fact that the card can actually support three dual-link displays. That should give just about everyone enough desktop-space. Although if you place three 30" screens on your desk, you may actually run out of real desktop-space.
