SuomeksiHIS HD5770 - The card
As this card is still so brand new, even the newest version of GPU-Z won't give you any accurate data to play with. While it gets the series of the card right, the clocks are really the only other thing it'll give you. The card does however have 1GB of memory which should be enough for a card this caliber.
The HD5770 from HIS is basically the reference card from AMD. Basically from the outside, the HD5770 looks just like a smaller version of the HD5870 and HD5850 cards. The PCB is shorter, but the cooler still retains the same design. This time around HIS has added their sticker on the fan, but it is possible that they'll add some other stickers to the cooler in the production versions.
The back of the card show all the basic things you would once again expect. Half of the memory chips are actually placed on the back of the PCB, without any cooling, so this may actually affect the overclocking, at least for the memory. The top corner shows the mandatory Crossfire-connectors and other than that there really is not that much to see.
AMD has chosen to produce the first wave of the HD5k cards with a black PCB, which at least in my eyes looks great. Even the bracket on the back of the card is black, which in my opinion is a nice touch.
The front edge of the card shows the 6-pin PCI-e power plug through the ventilation-holes, which are placed so that the fan will suck some air over the power-circuitry. Not a bad decision.
The back of the card has changed somewhat from the previous AMD products. Now the back has a total of two DVI-connectors, one display-port and one HDMI. Those should give the users the freedom of choice they need.
The back of the card also has a small grill through which most of the hot air is blown out of the case. Some of the air is however routed so that it comes through the holes on the top of the card.
