Benchmarks continued
Heaven
One of the newcomers to our testing routine is the Unigine Heaven benchmark. This is a DX11-benchmark which also heavily uses the tessellation of the cards.

This time it's the GTX 470 that leads the way, leaving the other contestants far behind with a margin of 91 points. The 5770 crossfire comes second, leaving the HD5870 third.
AvP Benchmark
As a newcomer to our benching suite we have a DX11 Alien vs Predator-benchmark. The test is ran at 1920x1080 resolution, with all the graphic settings maxed and the number is the average FPS.

Again the HD5870 takes the lead, leaving the GTX 470 behind by a margin of just 1,3 FPS. Overclocking the card gives a boost of 1,5 FPS, or about 4%.
STALKER: Call of Pripyat
Another newcomer, the Call of Pripyat benchmark is a very demanding DX11 game.

Looking at the results of the sunshafts-run, the GTX 470 scores the best, leaving the HD5870 behind by a margin of just 2 FPS. In the less demanding tests the HD5870 does score better, but with the lowest average counting, it's the GTX 470 that wins. The HD5770 CFX comes close third, losing to the HD5870 by another two FPS.
Far Cry 2

Another DX10 game test and another victory for the GTX470. This time the difference to the HD5870 is very clear, with there being almost 20 FPS between the two. The HD5770 crossfire scores virtually identically with the HD5870, and even better at low AA.
Crysis Warhead

The DX10 Crysis still remains a very demanding test and with the scores ranked according to the Enthusiast 8xAA run it's the HD5870 that copes the best. The GTX 470 comes close second, losing only by a couple of FPS, depending on the settings. This time the HD5770 CFX doesn't do too well, losing by a full 10 FPS on the lower settings.
