QPAD 5K - Software

The Qpad software looks much less cluttered than the Inferno, which is to be expected, considering one has control of "merely" half the buttons the Inferno has. On the front page there are settings for the key actions and the double click speed.

Second tab has setting for the scroll wheel speed and light.

And from third one can find the cursor speed slider as well as settings for the mouse acceleration. There's also a setting for automatically moving the cursor over dialog boxes.

The 5K offers two DPI settings, which can be individually tweaked for X- and Y-axises. Two might sound few after the five seen on the Inferno, but really atleast I couldn't ask for more. When gaming there's one setting for up-close and personal spraying and one for sniping. On the same tab there's a setting for the lift distance.

The macro editor is again the usual kind of thing, but this version only manages five keys. Overall then the Qpad software is much more limited when compared to the CM Storm, but still offers all the settings you'd expect from a mouse mainly aimed at the FPS-gamers.
