K800

Out of the box the K800 looks very similar with the original Illuminated. Really the only significant difference is the rounded corners. Overall it's a sleek and classy looking design, so no wonder Logitech didn't want to change it too much.

Looking from the top the layout follows the FI/SWE standard layout. The F-keys on the top are in groups of four as usual, and a bit lower than the rest of the keys. Really the only differences from most keyboards is the FN-key in between the Alt-Gr and right Ctrl, which turns the F-keys into quick keys for backlight and media controlling. Also on top of the numpad there are keys for changing the volume and starting the calculator.
Side view

The profile of the keyboard is very low, with the palm rest rising from the desk by just a couple of millimeters. The top side of the keyboard is mostly made from matte black plastic, but there's a shiny insert around the keys. Around the edge there's a thing strip of clear acryl and the sides and rear are made from white plastic.
