IntroLogitech has wide range of network music players in their Squeezebox family. This time we are taking a look at Squeezebox Touch. It's a touch screen controlled Wi-Fi internet radio to be connected to your home stereo. It has also the ability to play tunes from your computer. |
Package & Specs & Bundle

Specifications:
- 4.3" capacitive touch screen
- internet radio
- plays music from SD cards and USB drive
- alarm clock
- remote control
- connectivity via wlan and ethernet
- 24/96khz digital optical and spdif output
- analog line level rca output
- headphones output

In addition to the radio itself you get a remote controller, batteries for it, ac adapter, rca stereo cable and a printed manual. First thing I noticed is the weight of the device. It has really nice metal stand so no wobbling while using the touch screen. Worse discovery is the outdated looks. I think a 7" wide device should have bigger screen than 4.3 inches. Plenty of unused surface! Metal stand looks good for ~300 euros device but the glossy plastic doesn't fit and starts to look bad after a minutes of use. Small microfiber cloth is supplied as a weapon for trying to fight dust and fingerprints.
