Software
To get everything out of the mouse, you really need to install the drivers and the utility program for the mouse. The sideways-tilt of the scroll wheel needs separate drivers to function. The utility program on the otherhand gives the user the possibility to change the mode- and DPI-settings of the mouse. In addition the mouse allows the user to bind macros to the two side buttons of the mouse.

When the drivers for the mouse have been installed the user can tweak some settings in the mouse properties. The user can bind the middle-button to many different functions and the scroll-options are also found here.

The utility software allows the user to bind pre-set macros to the two programmable buttons or it even allows the user to create their own macros.

The user can control both the X and Y DPI-settings separately if they want to. There are four different levels that the user can set for the DPI. The currently used DPI-setting is indicated with the color of the scroll wheel.
All in all the software-side of the mouse was fairly ordinary. Sure the utility program could use a facelift as in some way, at least in my opinion, it looks a bit unfinished.
