The HDD-installation works exactly like in the Switch 810 we reviewed a while back. The sledges are made of plastic and come with metal pins and rubber grommets already installed. On paper the system works just fine, but in practice it can be difficult to get the pins in place.
Installed
There's really nothing special about the rest of the installation. Really the only thing to point out is the small size of the case, on the outside it looks like a large mid-tower case, but so much of the space is only plastic bezels the actual frame feels very small and gets crowded. The case CAN take long graphic cards, but it was a very close call with the Noctua NH-D14 CPU-cooler.
The cable management holes work fine, but when using mATX-boards it would be handy of there were also holes under the motherboard.
