Starting the installation with the hard drive, and it has to be one of the most complicated hard drive installation ever. Just to get the hard drive cage out means removing a 3,5" holder from the back side of the drive cage with four screws, three bay covers and then eight screws holding the cage in place. After this you still have to mount the hard drive to the cage and do it all backwards. 12 screws just to get the cage out is simply too much.
On a brighter note it only takes four screws to install a hard drive to the bays at the rear side of the motherboard tray. Also all the hard drive bays do come with vibration dampening rubber grommets.
Everything in place and one can see just how much space there is for the graphic cards. Unfortunately there isn't nearly as much space in between the motherboard and the drive cage, which makes connecting the CPU-cooler fans and other cables very tricky. It would have been nice to have another couple of centimeters of clearance here.
The power supply we used is the Xigmatek mammoth, measuring 200 mm it doesn't REALLY fit in the case, but with careful cable routing and a bit of a bulge on the side panel we still got the case closed and were able to run the temperature tests. The mounting hole for the CPU-cooler is large enough and where it should be, and with just a single HDD there's plenty of space for the cables.
