TJ08-E

In Silverstone fashion the case is very subtly styled. The front panel is aluminum, which always tends to give any case a rather classy feel. The side panels are blank with no windows of ventilation holes, but there's a 120 mm fan hole on the roof.

A closer look at the front panel and we can see the two 5,25" drive bays at the top, the two USB3.0-ports audio jacks, reset- and power switches and under that a large mesh covering the 180 mm intake fan. At the very bottom is a nowadays rather rare external 3,5" drive bay.

At the side of the front bezel one can see the two speed fan controller for the single case fan, and also a dust filter that can be very easily removed by simply pushing it out to either side. Due to the layout of the case, it's actually the right side panel that covers the hardware inside.

Looking at the rear panel and we get a first peek at the inverted internal layout of the case. The power supply sits at the top, but unlike usually, the PCI-slots are right under it and at the bottom are the I/O area and a mounting hole for an optional 120 mm fan. Like some other Silverstone models, also the TJ08-E relies in positive pressure cooling, which means that the single 180 mm input fan pushes a slight overpressure inside the case, and exhaust air escapes through the various ventilation holes. This, in theory at least, means that all the air that comes to the case needs to travel through the front panel dust filter.
