Assembly

Mounting the Nitrogon takes several steps but is a simple procedure in the end. First the support plate is attached to the motherboard using four long screws and four spacers, then the cooler is dropped in place and finally secured with four large spring loaded grommets.
The bolt-through system works great, but getting two of the four thumb grommets in place can be hard as they are located under the cooling fins.

Here's the hard drive cage in action. The drive rails snap firmly in place and I must say this has to be one of the best tool free HDD mountings I've seen. The only problems here are that despite the drive cage is made of thick aluminum, the drive rails are made of plastic and thus some of the aluminum's cooling capabilities are wasted. The other problem is the obvious lack of vibration dampening, but that part of things is pretty well under control thanks to the thick and sturdy material.

After installing the motherboard and the storage drives there's still surprisingly much room left in the case. This is about to change though as now the power supply has to be mounted in place. Here one can also see why the 4-pin extension cable can become handy, the 4-pin connector is usually placed next to the CPU-slot and thus will be under the power supply.
