Speedlink CUE Multitouch Mouse
Mouse that likes to be touched

Software

The driver for the mouse is a very plain looking thing where one can set the desired
functions for the eight different gestures. As default these feature the usual set of left,
right, scroll up/down, and sideways, as well as the browser forward and backward-"keys". So
while there's effectively a multi-touch touch pad on the mouse, it doesn't realize stuff like
pinching or zooming like phones and new laptop pads do.
In use

In use it feels surprisingly normal to hold the Cue with your fingertips. It doesn't
really seem to make much difference if there's the usual mouse shape under your palm
somewhere, as the grip really only holds the sides of such a small mouse anyway.
If it was just the normal two main buttons and a wheel you were going to use, this
wouldn't be a problem, but unfortunately using the two-finger gestures proved to be rather
difficult. The problem here is that while dragging the fingers across the smooth surface, the
friction tries to twist the small and light mouse underneath, which again leads to the
movements not being smooth and the driver not correctly reading the gesture.
