The actual installation turned out to be a nerve-wrecking process with just about everything needing additional fine tuning. First of all there was the graphic card that simply didn't want to get water cooled. It's a model with a gigabyte of memory so there's more memory chips than on usual 8800GTs. The memory chips also seemed to be covered in grease of some sort that didn't come off even with isopropyl alcohol. Eventually the graphic card was sorted and some memory heatsinks mounted also to the rear side of the card. Also the heatpipe connecting the voltage regulation and NB heatsinks had to be cut in order to get the NB-block installed. Needless to say, warranty void if you cut a heatpipe on your motherboard.

Other than the graphic card things went pretty smoothly. Thanks to the careful measuring while cutting the hoses, all the blocks found their places with ease and Swiftech's mounting hardware worked nicely. Sure the installation is an epic adventure compared to popping a boxed air cooler in place, but it isn't impossibly hard either.
