Power supply

All the extra devices, as well as the powered USB-hub, require extra power and for this there's a 5 V 3000 mA (15 W) power supply included in the bundle. The cable is just under two meters long.
Targus Docking Station

The dock is a very simple looking, black box with a slight wedge design. There are no indication lights whatsoever, which combined with the flat black color makes it look like a real tool instead of some gadget. This suggests it fits nicely underneath the laptop, rising the rear off the desk slightly.

Looking at the rear we have the single DVI-I connection, microphone in, headphone out, 10/10 LAN, a black "high power" USB-connector with the extra wattage. These black connectors are specially designed to be used for charging various USB-devices and are capable of outputting up to 1000 mA of current. And finally on the right edge there are two regular USB-connectors and a loop for a security cable.

At the left end of the device there's the connection for extra power and the USB-connector for hooking the dock to the computer. I'm not sure why these connections aren't with the others in the back, as would help keep the cable mess to minimum, but I guess it's also logical that these connections that always need to be done are on one side of the dock. On the opposite end there's a slot for kensington lock and the second high power USB-connection.

On the bottom there's the model sticker and two large rubber feet that keep the dock in place.
