The quad is not big nor it is too small. For this kind of toy that you can fly both indoors and outside, the size is spot on. Propellers have two different colors so you know what is front and what is back. Two of the props are clockwise rotating and two of them are counter clockwise rotating ones, just what you would expect from a quad copter.
Flight controller
This is the "brains" of the copter. Just remove the plastic dome protecting it and you'll get a direct access to it. Inside there is an microcontroller that does all the calculation and attitude corrections based on the input coming from the radio controller and the built-in gyroscopes.
Battery holder
Underneath the copter there is a basket that is used to hold the flight battery. Very simple design but still keeps the battery secured in place even in most violent crashes.
