Optical sensor's has three DPI settings; 450, 1150 and 2300. The DPI can be changed from a switch, which is at the bottom of the mouse, and the different settings have also notification LEDs (red is for 450, purple is for 1150 and blue is for 2300). The switch is a bit too stiff, and it could be located at the top rather than the bottom, so you would not have to lift your mouse to change the DPI.
Compared
Zowie AM is about the same size as Roccat Kone[+], though Roccat feels a lot more massive in hand.
