Intro

During the last couple of years quiet computing has really made its big entrance. Markets are filled with numerous products from rubber grommets to silent fans, but still the case remains the single most important component when trying to build as silent setup as possible.

Antec Sonata-series cases have been popular amongst the enthusiast for years already and now the series has reached its third version. It's interesting to see if and how Antec has managed to futher-improve the already pretty through-tought product.

Sonata III

The case comes packed in to a light colored box with all the features and specifications printed on it on multiple lanuguages. Inside the box the case it self is held in place with shaped foam-pieces and wrapped into white cloth. This is a good way of preventing fingerprints which the gloss black finish otherwise would get already during the unpacking.
