Intro
CP-520A4 is the latest power supply from Chill Innovation.
The unit has gold-plated connectors and a very silent
140 mm temperature controlled fan. Chill Innovation is one of the
manufacturers that entered the PSU business just recently, which makes
seeing how their new product performs even more interesting. Before power
supplies Chill Innovation have manufactured, for example, adapter cables for
power supplies and anti-vibration kits for hard drives.

Package and content
There is not much in the package, only the power supply itself and a
power cord. I wonder why there is no manual at all, not even a single
instruction sheet or anything like that. The power supply is normal sized
but still feels quite heavy. The weight and the size are a bit surprising as
often units with higher specified wattage are lighter. When talking about
PSUs, heavier is often better as it means larger transformers, heatsinks
and other parts. The size might simply be caused by the large fan.
