As a whole the all of the kits did what the promised and often even a bit more. It really is great to see how far the DDR3 kits have come along from the first 1333 MHz kits. These kits run at lower timings than those at far higher frequencies. So after countless hours of benchmarking, what have we learned? Well first of all, we saw that some of the benchmarks that we used were more or less either CPU- or GPU-limited, with the memories only having a little effect on the performance. On other benchmarks the timings and memory speeds played an important role in the performance. Good memory with great timings and frequencies really is like icing on a cake. They won't transfer your old and already slow computer into something lightyears faster (if your running enough memory), but they help you squeeze out the last bit of performance.

ConclusionIt was hard to find a winner in this round up as the results were so close. In the end I however leaned towards the Patriot kit, that despite its 1800 MHz rated speed ran beautifully at 2000 MHz with some great timings. The Patriot kit also was the cheapest of the lot so the value was excellent. Coming in second was the CSX kit that had the tightest rated timings and a nice low price. The Corsair and G.Skill really were neck to neck with both having their own pros. Even the Crucial kit that received the Bronze award, is a great kit. The only reason for the lower award is the high price. The kit itself ran beautifully and it was actually one of the easiest kits to work with. The Mushkin kit had its own problems during our testing, but they are most probably related to just our setup. The should have quite a bit more of potential than what I got to uncover in my short amount of time. In the end I can say that you can't go wrong with any of these kits. |

Kirjoitusvirheitä ja muitakin tekstivirheitä oli aika paljon, ainakin verrattuna muihin artikkeleihin.
Teksti oli kyllä muuten sujuvaa ja jutun jaksoi lukea loppuun asti.
EDIT: Tarkennetaan vielä sen verran, että pääasiassa oli yhdyssana- ja pilkkuvirheitä.
