In front of roof's fan hole there's a plate which is supposed to prevent the sound to leak out of the case. The plate is removable and you can install a fan to the hole if you want to. On the left side panel there's a same kind of plate in front of the fan hole. Fractal Design calls this system with a name "ModuVent". Simple but still brilliant.
Four expansion slots are enough for microATX-motherboard. One vertically mounted expansion slot is a great invention because some users may have for example two graphics cards which use all four expansion slots. Case's front fans suck the cool air to the case. The cool air is supposed to flow through the holes located at the front panel's sides.
The front fans are installed in the fan holders which have the dust filters. When the fan is placed to the fan holder, the plastic clamps lock the fan to the fan holder. After that you attach the fan holder to the case by four screws. However, the fan holder's structure blocks the cool air from getting to the fan. Fan holders are so close to the fan's doors that air flow suffers without a doubt.
