Define XL
The style follows the same understated theme already set by the original Define R2. The Titanium Gray test sample is otherwise black, but the front door has a gray tint to it. Sure, the looks are a personal opinion, but for me this clean and stylish style has always been the way to go.
On the side panel there's just a single 120/140 mm fan hole, which as stock is blocked by a piece of sound insulation. Fractal Design calls these fan holes "ModuVents".The sides of the front bezel are perforated to allow the front fans to breath.
The roof is just a smooth, solid piece of metal and there are no ventilation holes whatsoever. On the front of the roof however there are the front panel connections, which feature a nice set of four USB 2.0-connectors, e-SATA, headphone- and microphone jacks and also the power button and led. USB 3 would have been a nice addition.
