Gainward 295 GTX
When the speed is all the matters.

Intro
Keeping with the green-theme from the last graphics review, we have gotten the 295GTX from Gainward to our
testbench. After losing the performance crown, Nvidia pulled some aces to take back the title. The newer GT200b core made it
possible for Nvidia to regain the crown in the same way as which it lost it, placing two GPUs onto the same card. Or in
Nvidia's case use two cards. The 295GTX continues with the same sandwich-structure which we have seen on previous
double-GPU-cards from Nvidia.
Although the 295GTX was released in the beginning of this year, the availability of the card has however been
scarce. It has been close to impossible to get the card from retail until now.

Package

The package is almost identical with the 285GTX which I reviewed earlier. The only real difference you'll be able
see immediately is of course the different name on the box, but the picture and color theme is exactly the same in both
packages.
Bundle

Despite being packed in a relatively big box, the bundle could be described as small. It does however have
everything you may need to get the card to use. In addition to the card, you get a short manual, a driver cd, an
vga-adapter and a short cable so you can run the sound through the HDMI-port.
