Here's a quick comparison of the current top two fastest single GPU cards from both Nvidia and Ati. The
approaches of these two manufacturers are a bit different, but the numbers and performance are very similar.

The reference clock speeds for the GTX 470 are CPU 607 MHz, Memory 837 MHz and shaders 1215 MHz. Out the box the GTX
470 GS GOOD is reasonably overclocked at 650 MHz for the core, 850 MHz (GDDR5 3600 MHz) for the memories and 1300 MHz on
the shaders.
