Let's start the closer inspection on the HD6870. Inside the box there's the card itself, two power adapters, a single DVI-VGA-adapter, a crossfire bridge and a short installation manual with the driver CD. Nothing extra, but also nothing missing. These days it's hard to see use for the power adapters, as PCI-e power connectors have already been in use for years and if your PSU doesn't have two of them, you really shouldn't be using one of these cards anyway.

The HIS 6870 looks identical with the reference card by AMD. Judging by the weight it also uses the exact same cooler under the shroud. The board is 262 mm long and the two 6-pin power connectors are on the side of it, so it's going to fit most cases with no problems.
