Intro
Gamers are offered all kinds of products that promise to give them the
edge over the competition. There are mice, headsets, gloves, and even
wireless routers. This time Sitecom has provided us with their 300N XR
gaming router and a matching 300N XR USB wireless adapter. The main
selling feature of the router is its traffic shaping ability, which should
be able to lower your precious ping, while your connection is under load.
How well does this router keep its promises? Lets find out.

Package
For a router the box is huge. Just like usual the front is covered with a picture of the product and the
back has some more information. This time Sitecoms StreamEngine technology is on display.
Bundle
The router comes with the necessary power adapter, a short network cable and a CD-sized envelope that
has the installation guides and manual CD inside.
The Router
The router looks fairly minimalistic from the outside as most of it covered with shiny plastic. The only
thing that sticks out is the sole button that the router has. The same button is used for WPS-mode and
reset. The back of the router has all the ports and three antennas. The top has the status LEDs.
The bottom of the router has some more instructions.
