There are currently endless different SSDs from numerous manufacturers and in various sizes and prices. Once you
choose the capacity you still have plenty of models to choose from. All of the drives share the blazing fast access
times and thus have the main advantage over hard drives, so which ever drive you choose, you can't go wrong. There
are, however, significant differences in the write- and read speeds and generally speaking larger capacity drives
are faster than smaller ones, and the highest performing drives don't come cheap.
Keeping these variables in mind the Verbatim SSD is a mid-spec drive that beats the regular HDDs in every task,
but can't quite match the speed of the fastest S-ATA 3 SSDs. It is going to be a huge upgrade coming from a HDD and
if you get a good deal on one, go for it, but for most demanding users something like the Corsair Force GT is still
the way to go.
Current price for a Verbatim 128 GB Internal SSD is around $210 (~160 euros).
