Xigmatek Midgard
Cost effective choice for budget minded users

Intro
Xigmatek is a manufacturer that really made a name for itself with the HDT-based coolers, three of which
we've already reviewed before. The manufacturer also has a range of power supplies, and now they're also taking
the case markets by storm with their Midgard chassis. The Midgard follows the current trend of highly ventilated
gaming cases, so without further redo, lets just dive in!
|

The Midgard arrived to our test in a grey box with some fantasy-styled art on the front. Luckily the drawings
don't cover the whole box and there's still plenty of room for the specifications and detailed shots of the
special features. Really the only nag about the box is the lack of handles, which makes moving it around
unnecessarily difficult.

So then, like one can guess from the specifications, it's yet another extremely well ventilated chassis,
mainly aimed for gamers and other enthusiasts that need all the airflow possible.
Bundle

The bundle includes the usual installation guide and screws, but beside these there's also something a bit
special. First of all there are the weird looking black things that act as cable ties. They come with a screw
and attach to unused screw holes around the case. Beside these there's also a beeper and a fan controller. Now
the fan controller is a nice bonus, but I'd rather see one integrated to the case, a know on the front panel
would be much nicer to use than one in the PCI-slot.
