I decided to give a new life to my old Mikro Mikko AT-deskcase. So I made HTPC from it. I thought it would be hard to fit ATX-power to small AT-case but after all it wasn't problem.

Now in old Mikro Mikko (former pentium 75) has duron 1800 inside and lives it's new life.

I forgot to take picture before mod but I have a picture almost_before_mod.

Komia on. Itse kanssa alottelin mikromikko projektia. Mites onko tossa normi ATX vai MicroATX emo? Toi kovo taitaa seistä vaan vähän tyhjän päällä.

Agreed! Tower Cases look completely out of place in the living room, why do you think manufacturers are making desktop cases that look exactly like this. macos mate your case looks great. I don't have the money for the more expensive HTPC cases and am now thinking about modding a cheap beige one, you've inspired me mate.

If you think that towerPC looks nice in living room it's your opinion. But I think you are quite alone with your opinion.
And what comes to led fan. Can't you read my earlier "comment"

Kalvin03.05.2004 21:35
Once we got ridded of office-desktops for towerPC's... and now we are getting back where we started...whit hard work. Make any sense?
Nice work...but don't lose those led-fans in this crab.

Hieno on.

Specs. for the Led fan: noise 21 dBa and Max. Air Flow 32.4 CFM. This fan was the most quiet available in my store. I don't need leds but as I said this was best cooler for my project available in my store.
My CPU temperature is 42C when cpu usage 100% and 35C in idle.
I didn't want to make any windows or other disco stuff to my HTPC because I am going to put it in my living room next to the TV and Yamaha home theater amplifiers. So I wanted to keep it simple.

Looks very simple... maybe add a window on the side, or some decals, but noting to tacky... looks good tho, and probably looks good anywhere 4/5

Quentis29.04.2004 02:01
Looks pretty good, simple and clean. Why bother with the LED fan if it doesnt get seen? Id replace it with a normal fan that produces more cfm for less noise. But thats just me. Good mod, 4/5
