Story:
This is a mod i made in a few minutes, but i think it is very usefull.

1. i took the usb section off of an old cord i had lying around.

2. I cut the LED leads very short

3. I cut 6 leads off resistors

4. i soldered two pairs of resistor leads so as to make it twice as long, and soldered those to the LED at a ninety degree angle (i put heat shrink over them so they didnt short out)

5. i then soldered the bottoms of the resistor leads to the two outer connections of the Usb section. (ground and +5 volts)

and if you want to make it brighter could solder two more leds on (see picture)

Good idea. Just having an extending arm or metal would be usefull that is able to bend
