IntroBoosting the appearance of computer systems is nothing new but improving the visual appearance of game consoles is just entering the main stream. As game consoles are visible part of living room decoration in many homes, getting it to match the rest of the environment is a challenge. Hacking the console open and using a rotary tool to cut holes to the case is something that is not for everyone. For people that are not willing to risk this much, XCM offers some very interesting products. This time we will be taking a look at their I-CASE replacement encolure for Nintendo Wii. |
The product

Case was packed inside a sturdy cardboard box. Case components were individually wrapped with foam so they should be in perfect condition whether you buy them from a retail store or from internet.

From inside we find everything needed to make the Wii sparkle. This includes all the tools and also the replacement rubber feet, the stand, buttons etc. All plastic parts are chromed inside out and the end result looks very impressive. That mascot on top of the image is not part of the bundle. I used it to demonstrate the mirror like properties of the chromed surface. Oh, one last thing - no instructions included.
