The X6 in detail

Attaching and removing the numpad is easy and fast. Just bring the numpad close to the edge of the X6 and the powerful magnets will clamp the pieces together. To connector in the middle is not a regular USB connector and thus allows the two halves to slide into each other easier even when approaching from an angle. To disconnect the pieces, just pull the numpad part off.

With the numpad on, the X6 is bit wider than a regular office keyboard. If you look at the keys, the main body of them are located equally to the ones on the office keys. This applies to all other keys except the ESC and F-keys. These are shifted slightly to the left and at first might cause some problems. I for example use Irssi as an IRC client and use ESC + < number > to change the channel screen. With the X6 I keep hitting F1 + < number >.

At the bottom of the keyboard one can find rubber feet that do a good job of keeping the keyboard at the same place. Note that there is no option to raise the far edge of the keyboard in any way. It will always sit flat on the desk.

And yes, it has lights too...
