NZXT PANZERBOX - External views

The first thing to strike you after opening the box is the shape of the case. At 244 millimeters it's extremely wide, which also may make it seem smaller in pictures than it is in real life. As in all other cases we've tested recently, there's also lots and lots of mesh on the Panzerbox. The front panel connectors are placed on a slight angle on the front end of the roof.

The actual front panel of the case looks rather plain. The bottom section is entirely made of mesh and you can already see the 190 mm intake fan lurking behind the mesh. On the top there are three 5,25" drive bays - no external 3,5" drives in this case. On the upper-left corner of the front panel one can also see the tiny power and reset buttons. The small NZXT-badge is all there is reminding you of the manufacturer.

The connectors are slightly tilted towards the front of the case, and very accessible. There are the usual two USB's and audio jacks, and also a single e-sata connector. Just like the front panel, also the roof is made of the same mesh. The aluminum structure combined with the curvy shape kinda reminds me of the Silverstone Fortress we reviewed a while back.

The left and right side panels are identical, and there's some further ventilation mesh on both panels. The one on the left is located next to where the power supply will get installed, but I'm not really sure why there's similar grill on the right side panel.
