3DMark06

Now as we get to the performance benchmarks, we can see that the silent-solution from Sapphire gets clubbed down to the ground by the others. This however was not that surprising, as all of the other cards really don't even fight in the same league as the small HD4670. It's unfortunate that I don't have any cards available at the moment that I could really compare this card to.
Despite getting its ass kicked, the Sapphire Ultimate HD4670 does post some nice scores for a mid-range card that is completely passively cooled. We'll really get to see what this card is capable of when we move on to the real-world tests.
3DMark Vantage 1.0.1
3DMark is a computer benchmark suite by Futuremark Corporation designed to determine the DirectX performance of graphics cards. The full range of 3DMark products ranges are 3DMark99, 3Dmark99 MAX, 3DMark2000, 3DMark2001, 3Dmark2001 SE, 3DMark03, 3DMark05, 3DMark06 and 3DMark Vantage. Every new edition of 3DMark uses the latest in 3D technology to deliver objective and forward-looking measurements for real world performance.

The same situation is still present in 3DMark Vantage. Really nothing new to comment on here.
HL2 : EP2
Half-Life® 2: Episode Two is the second in a trilogy of new games created by Valve that extends the award-winning and best-selling Half-Life® adventure.
As Dr. Gordon Freeman, you were last seen exiting City 17 with Alyx Vance as the Citadel erupted amidst a storm of unknown proportions. In Episode Two, you must battle and race against Combine forces as you traverse the White Forest to deliver a crucial information packet stolen from the Citadel to an enclave of fellow resistance scientists.
Episode Two extends the award-winning Half-Life game-play with unique weapons, vehicles, and newly-spawned creatures.

Now that we get to the real-world tests, the HD4670 shows that while it may not be able to crank out playable fps, at higher AF and AA settings, the FPS that it gets when they are not enabled are really nicely on the playable side.
COD4
Call of Duty 4 is one of the few recent games that are still DirectX9 only. Despite this it still manages to look realistic and also fits well to testing purposes. Results were gathered with some help from Fraps.

Here we can see that this little bugger is a bit overwhelmed by COD4 at high resolutions. At least, when AA and AF is enabled. We really couldn't recommend using settings this high with this card. However when the AA and AF are removed, the card should be able to produce a nice playable FPS.

Even when moving to the lower resolution, the FPS are still not considered playable. I did test however what kind of FPS this card could get if you remove the AA and AF, and I'm happy to report that the cards minimum FPS in COD4 climbs all the way to 43 and the average to 59 on our test-bench. Though these are still a bit on the low side, they are playable FPS. Of course, if the resolution is lowered even more, the better the results will get.
