We had the same exact spot at the lobby area that we had the last year. Dremel provided the tools and we
brought the talent. People got to see the new 4000 series rotary tool and the FortiFlex unit. We from Metku.net showcased several
of our previous mods but the main attraction was the Toni's new case that made its first public appearance.
The booth
We had around 200 pieces of acrylic with us for visitors to engrave. Every last one of them went so the "workshop" was a success.
The mods
This year we got a chance to play with metal too. Toni made some fixes to the spare chassis that he brought along with him. I hacked Steelseries WOW
mouse open and installed a 4D Systems OLED screen inside it.
The Coolest Case competition
I was one of the judges who's task was to go out and find the best modded case at the arena. Modding here in Finland isn't that popular yet
but we still managed to pull out the top three from the few entries that we had.
