As the Spain enters its EU Presidency term, 800 people came together in Madrid to share their views of the future. We were also there to promote modding and sharing ideas. This is my report from the event.
The venue chosen for the winter-event was Kaapelitehdas, located in Ruoholahti. We took a quick visit to the event, so we'd see how the new location suited the event.
Assembly is a four day long computer festival that gathers thousands of people and their computers to the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland. This was the second year in running when we joined forces with Bosch/Dremel to promote modding and their tools to the crowd. Here is the raport about the event as it was witnessed by us.

As there were so much to see, I'm sure that we missed a lot, but hopefully you'll get the idea what this Europe's largest LAN Party is all about.

Oct. 11, 2006; YLE announced that they are looking into illegal programme use on YouTube. According to Tunturi, YLE will start a dialog between YouTube but the possibility of legal actions in the U.S. court is not out of the question. To make the matter more interesting, it might be possible that there would be several Finnish broadcasting companies acting together on this matter.
