The controls

Here are the front buttons. I'm using the i-Pac to read the button presses and it uses a common ground on all the buttons. I'm making the needed connections...

And this is how the buttons look like when they are finished. I can open up the panel by taking out the two screws and pushing the panel in slightly . Then I can twist the panel and pull it outside when needed.

Final steps...

I was planning on using the cross flow fan to move cool air along the bottom side of the 32" panel but the d*mn thing made such a loud noise when installed inside the case so it had to go. I had only couple of hours left at this point to put everything together and drive all the way to Helsinki (~700km) for the Assembly event. I took a saw and made a larger opening at the center of the cut and installed a normal 120 mm fan in there. It worked perfectly.

Also visible in this image is the I-PAC unit on the upper right corner. Just below it is the eye for the infrared remote looking down to the bottom of the case.

Here is a shot of my CNC machine that I've adapter to cut stickers. I'm using the exact same blade that the commercial vinyl sticker cutting machines use. The software that I'm running is Mach3.

And here we have a closeup on the process. The first cut was too deep so I had to calibrate the blade holder a bit so it would only cut the vinyl part and not the sheet below with it.

And there you have it. The pinball machine made it safely to Helsinki...
