So, there you have it. It was fun to build this most of the time eventhough I did start to feel the added pressure of the schedule. This might be the last large build that I do to the
Assembly event... Partly because the next June will be spent traveling the US. On the other hand it doesn't take much to get the spark to start designing and hammering away a new creation!
I could have taken the pinball machine to the next level by adding bunch of solenoids, rumble engines, lights etc. but for my personal use the end results was more than enough. There are
article on the net on how to build machines like this but one needs to have the drive to combine the different approaches to one that feels right. For example on the software front, everything
feels like a big mess. Emulators are ready but you need to combine several scripts and different programs together to get the needed end-result. Hopefully someone will take on the job and build
an all-in-one package as when comparing the work hours that I spend on this project, tinkering with the software took almost as long as did the build on the box itself.
