Sliding tray

Some more wood working. I wanted to have an easy access to the computer system inside the pinball machine. For this I needed a sliding tray and the back board to hold the cooling fans and the radiator.
I didn't have a big enough hole saw for the vents nor I didn't have a small enough jigsaw blade for proper circular cut. So, I went for the straight lines... adaptation is the key here and they turned out just great. :)

For the sliding tray I used regular sliding drawer rails. They are cheap and readily available from any hardware store.

Basic structure finished.

I went the easiest way on this but hey, why over engineer something that doens't need it?

Sliding mechanism in action. Also in this photo are the two wooden blocks on both sides of the case. These are the rear supports for the 32" panel. The panel itself needs only one large screw on each corner for mounting.
