The Enclosure

Ghetto? Perhaps, but this is life when working on a budget. The CD/DVD Cake Box actually offers all the materials needed as the 120 mm diameter of the CD/DVD is perfect for the 120 mm light that we are using.

The cuts

This empty spacer is going to be used a base for the ring light. Both of the lights will be attached to it.

I've marked the outside diameter of the filter to the center and then I use small scissors to cut the piece out.

Piece is ready and the lights position over it perfectly.

Top part of the CD cake box will be converted into a side and top covers for the ring light. Just cut away the side and you are ready.

Pieces come together nicely. Fast and easy...
