Here is the finished piece. Not bad for a whole 10 minutes that I used to create this.

Mounted to my Canon 40D. The threads of the filter still work so I can put the ring light on and take it off as needed. The ring light is glued to the filter so they function as a one unit.

All sides of the light is covered with plastic sheet although the circuitry may seem exposed in this photo.

Lit up and ready to go.
