Plexi sheets

Here are the acrylics. In the picture they still have their blue protective coatings on. I had them laser cut in Tampere Liikeacryl. I drew the images with autocad, took the files to liikeacryl, they punched them into the computer controlling the laser cutter and voilá; laser cut, exactly identical plexi slices. As simple as that. :)

Cutting bench

I couldn´t find fitting ready-to-use spacers anywhere, so I had to make my own. I bought a meter of PVC-hose of which to cut the spacers. Because I needed hundreds of them, measuring and cutting each one individually would have taken several hours of work. So I took the easy way out, and built this little stand to help me with the task.

Test fit

Perfectly spaced sheets. Low tech solution for low tech need. :)
