SuperPi

We also ran SuperPi 1M to highlight the single core performance of the new architecture, and at stock speed, with the Turbo Core enabled the score is identical with 1075T operating at just 3 GHz. Just like with all the Phenom-reviews, the thing to really keep in mind here is to choose the CPU according to what the main use of the system will be. The extra cores aren't going to help if the programs can't make proper use of them.
PCMark7

Finally we ran the Computation-subtest of the PCmark7-test, and here the newcomer takes its place at the top of the AMD-chips. Overclocking improves the score by just under 1000 points, which really makes the effort worthwhile.
