Vacuuming the keyboard
Keyboard was a totally different story. The hard plastic tubes didn't go deep enough between the keys so that the brush hairs could have been used to rub off the dust. Brush-only version of the nozzle would be in order for the future models.
Conclusion
PROS CONS |
I was positively surprised by the performance of the unit after the review of not so great Power Supply Tester from the same company. While it seems that companies are trying to make everything that was previously powered by batteries to work with USB, even when the product is in no way related to computers, some products actually prove themself useful. Small size combined with powerfull suction and work light make this product very usefull. It doesn't take that much space to store away and is instantly ready to be used after you plug it in to an USB port. Only real downside in my opinion is the cleaning of the keyboard. I believe that this is one of the key areas where this product is designed to work. Clearly the engineers didn't test the unit with too many keyboards before they started to manufacture these because the nozzle design is just plain wrong. If you have a regular vacuum cleaner in your house, I'm not so sure you need this product. When you are on the business trip and noticed that your laptop is really dusty and you don't want the customer to see the mess, just clean it with this small USB vacuum cleaner. Perhaps you can vacuum your tie too while you are at it. :) |
