CAT B15Q - external views

The styling of the B15Q is spot on for a device that tries to shout out I'm rugged! Rubberized corners, anodized aluminium sides with hex bolts and bright yellow buttons do give the appearance of a tough product. Top this with the Gorilla Glass and the end result might even deliver what it tries to promise.
Control buttons for the Android OS menu, home and return functions are touch sensitive ones. No mechanical buttons here.

From the right side we can find the volume controls and the dedicated camera shutter button. On top of the phone there is a power button with its obvious functions.
Connectors

Top of the phone houses the 3.5 mm audio jack that is located under a tight rubber seal. When secured close, the seal feels very strong a sturdy and it should keep dirt and water out from the innards of the B15Q quite effectively.

On the left side of the unit is the rubber cover for the Micro USB connector. The connector itself is embedded quite deep inside the rubber. This allows for a tight seal but as it turns out, blocks most of the USB cables and their connectors that we had at hand to try out. The bundled USB cable works just fine.
