As a reference I included few Athlon 64 motherboards and also AMD Athlon XP and Pentium 4 systems. All test systems have been configured to their fastest possible settings. It's somewhat unfair to compare Athlon XP 2600+ and Pentium 4 2,4 GHz processors directly to Athlon 64 3400+ but we are however doing it.
Default FSB
- Albatron K8X800 Pro II: 201.4MHz
- Epox 8HDA3+: 201MHz
- Shuttle AN50R: 200MHz
Epox 8HDA3+ has one megahertz higher FSB than it should be, whereas Albatron boosts FSB 1.4MHz. Impact to test scores are visible but very minor, so nothing to worry about.
Tests

WinRAR 3.10
WinRAR 3.10 test is mostly memory latency and bandwidth test. Here Athlon 64 systems are on their best. Pentium 4 benefit from its high memory bandwidth, but Athlon 64 benefit more from its very low latency memory controller. Athlon XP system seems so slow here. What is interesting though is that Epox HDA3+ doesn't perform as good as other Athlon 64 motherboards, maybe a BIOS problem.

CDex 1.50
CDex 1.50 is mainly processor dependent. Most interesting is that there is so big difference between Athlon 64 motherboards.

PhotoShop 7.0
All Athlon 64 systems perform very similar here.

CineBench 2003
CineBench 2003 results show no difference between the Athlon 64 motherboards.

Superpi 8M
Epox 8HDA3+ is fastest and Shuttle AN50R is slowest Athlon 64 motherboard in this test, but differences are still very small.

Specviewperf 7.1.1
Performance differences are again quite minimal.
