Tests

PCMark2002
Utilizing Hyper-Threading Pentium 4 goes its own ways.

3DMark2001SE

3DMark03 CPU

AquaMark3
Very little performance differenses on these tests.

SiSoft Sandra 2004
Pentium 4 has superior memory bandwith compared to Athlon 64 systems on SiSoft Sandra 2004's unoptimized and unbuffered memory test. Epox HDA3+ has the most tight memory settings of all other Athlon 64 motherboards and it shows here.

Quake III Arena

Unreal Tournament 2003
Performance tests clearly indicate that there is almost no differences between these Athlon 64 motherboards. Interestingly enough nForce3 motherboard AN50R has the lowest LDT speed and the slowest memory latencies, but it still managed to fight side by side with both K8T800 motherboards. Epox managed to perform very well on these tests and especially tests requiring high memory bandwidth were it's speciality. In practice performance differences between these motherboards are so minor that it would be wise to focus on features and price when choosing Athlon 64 motherboard.
