The view from above shows well that MS-3 is very wide and large mouse, which supports the whole hand.
At the bottom there are four large pads and Avago ADNS 9500 laser sensor. Many gamers complain that ADNS 9500 has positive acceleration, which causes inconsistent behaviour with the mouse. Personally I didn't notice almost any acceleration, as long as the acceleration was set to be off in the drivers.
Lighting
The mouse has LEDs to indicate the current profile. By default the profile is changed by pressing the button which is on the right side of the right side button. Three LEDs indicate the current profile with a white LED (showed in the last picture).
The LED colors can be adjusted freely from the drivers, and they can also be turned off if you want to.
